Hello, my name is Nick and I’m a recent graduate of the University of Arizona. I have a Bachelors’ degree in both Political Science and Near Eastern Studies and I’m currently pursuing a Masters’ in Public Administration.

I’m intimately familiar with the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences from my extensive experience negotiating my undergraduate career and applying to its graduate programs. I’ve also volunteered with many local government representatives and have a keen feel for what looks good on a resume, as I also run my own small painting business.

I’m also a transfer student myself, having spent my freshman year at Northern Arizona University. I transferred to the U of A for the rest of my undergraduate career to be closer to friends and family, including my two rescue dogs.

I’m a born and raised Tucson native having lived in various parts of the city and can provide keen advice on some of the better establishments in the area. You can find me studying, or trying to study, in the Transfer Student Center in the afternoons Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays.

While somewhat absorbed and dedicated to my studies, I find time to unwind during the tail end of the week. I enjoy the obligatory console and computer gaming with my friends and can be quite the couch-side quarterback when watching a game with my friends. I also partake in leisurely strolls with my pets at the local parks and dog runs and I’m quite skilled at the ancient and forbidden practice of ‘Origami’, which translated into English literally means “folding square pieces of paper into cranes and roses for the entertainment of little children and young women” though not all of my extracurricular forays are so benevolent. I hold awards in the deadly art of ‘Karate’ and I’m rumored to be the inspiration for every martial arts Blockbuster film circa 1988 and beyond.

While I may seem somewhat intimidating, I’m truly one of the more gentle and fun loving Transfer Outreach Facilitators, and enjoy spending time chatting and getting to know new people. If you find yourself in need of someone to talk to about the college, university life, or just need a friendly ear, please stop by and say hello!
