Jennifer Contreras
Hello, my name is Jennifer Contreras and I am the transfer outreach facilitator for students within the College of Science, majors A-M. I am currently a double major in Mexican American Studies and History with a minor in Spanish. It has always been my passion to study history and our rich culture having an emphasis on my Mexican American side. My career goals after graduation are to go on and become a middle school history teacher and also work in student services.
I am a Tucson native and transferred from Pima Community College Desert Vista campus. While at Pima CC, I worked as a student ambassador. I encourage you to take advantage of our lovely Transfer Student Center which is on the fourth floor of the Student Union. Don’t hesitate to stop by; I am often there assisting students or just hanging out. You can also find me at the recreation center or playing in a club sport.
If you have any questions or concerns don’t hesitate to ask me. There are plenty of resources for students here on campus so don’t pass those opportunities up. I hope to get to know all of you and be a great resource or someone to go to when you need support.
