Jeffrey Horn
Hello! My name is Jeffrey Horn and I’m a junior in the Eller College of Management. I’m double majoring in accounting and MIS. When I first started attending the University of Arizona I had little idea what to pursue or even what the University had to offer. Today I have a new direction and I am thrilled to pursuing accounting and MIS. I achieved Dean’s List with distinction last year and joined a number of clubs, in particular the national transfer honor society, Tau Sigma.
Out of high school I attended the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. I grew up in the great state of Wisconsin, so Minneapolis was about a six hour drive from home. My original major was chemical engineering, but upon reaching my junior year I decided that engineering was not for me. Around the same time my family relocated to Tucson, Arizona. I decided to follow about a year later and applied to the University of Arizona. I have never made a better decision! Not only do I avoid winter, but I love the school.
In my free time I often play or listen to music. I have played saxophone since elementary school, but more recently I have taken up electric bass, guitar, and piano. Another hobby of mine is computers. Whether surfing the internet or playing a video game, I can find endless amounts of enjoyment from a computer. Currently I commute from home to the University and at home I have two wonderful dogs that play a large part in my life.
